Frequently Asked Questions.
The things people ask before they pick up the phone, answered plainly.
Do you take insurance?
Sol MVMT is out of network and cash based. We provide a superbill upon request so you can seek reimbursement from your insurer, and we accept HSA and FSA cards.
Why are you cash based?
It lets your care be driven by your goals instead of insurance limits. You get a full 60 minutes one on one with a Doctor of Physical Therapy every session, with no restrictions on the treatment you receive.
What happens at my first visit?
A full 60 minute evaluation. We take your history, run a movement screen and functional testing to find the real cause, and build a clear plan of care around your goal.
Do you accept HSA and FSA?
Yes. Both are accepted, and we provide Good Faith Estimates and superbills to make reimbursement simple.
Do I need a referral to see a physical therapist in New York?
New York allows direct access to physical therapy, so many patients can begin without a referral. We will confirm what applies to your situation on your free performance assessment.
How long are sessions?
Every session is a full 60 minutes, one on one with your Doctor of Physical Therapy. No aides, no overlap with other patients.
How much does it cost?
It depends on the program that fits your goal, so we go through it together on your free performance assessment and give you a clear, honest number for your situation. Sol MVMT is out of network and cash based, with HSA and FSA accepted and superbills provided.
What is a superbill?
It is an itemized receipt of your visit that you can submit to your insurance company for possible out of network reimbursement. We provide one upon request.
Who do you work with?
Active adults and athletes dealing with pain or injury, people recovering from surgery, and anyone who wants doctor led, one on one care instead of a rushed clinic experience.
Where are you located?
214 Mac Arthur Ave, New Windsor, NY 12553, serving New Windsor and the surrounding Orange County and Hudson Valley area including Monroe, Goshen, Warwick, and Cornwall.
How do I get started?
Book a free performance assessment. We will hear your story, answer your questions, and make sure we are the right fit before you commit to anything.
Do you offer performance or return to sport programs?
Yes. Along with one on one physical therapy we offer outcome based programs for returning to training and returning to sport. See the Services page for all four ways to work with us.
