New Windsor, NY · Our Story

Sol MVMT started with one play.

Fernando Solis, Doctor of Physical Therapy, reviewing live performance data on a tablet while coaching an athlete at Sol MVMT in New Windsor, NY

Senior year. Football. Everything changed.

Fernando tore his MCL, his PCL, and his meniscus, and fractured his tibial plateau. That injury, and the long recovery that followed, is what led him to become a Doctor of Physical Therapy.

It also showed him where traditional PT runs out of room. Small spaces, limited equipment, no real way to program the exposure an athlete actually needs to trust their body again. He played lacrosse that spring, but he was hesitant. He was not the same athlete he had been before.

That gap, between healed and ready, between cleared and confident, is why he built Sol MVMT. A facility where your provider, your space, and your equipment are never the limiting factor. Where physical therapy does not end the moment the pain does, but carries all the way through to performing again.

Same Athlete. Different Chapter. We get you back to performing, not just participating.

Fernando Solis, PT, DPT.

Fernando is a Doctor of Physical Therapy, trained at the University at Buffalo after a B.S. in Exercise Science, and licensed in both New York and Connecticut. He is also a Champion Performance Specialist, his background sits right where rehab meets performance.

He has served as a clinical director, led strength and conditioning at a performance facility, and built a sports rehab program from the ground up, testing athletes for strength, speed, power, and change of direction to know when someone was genuinely ready to return, not guessing. He keeps that edge sharp through the R2P Academy Blueprints course, the Built 2 Last mentorship, and the Clinical Athlete mentorship.

It is the exact skill set the gap demands, a clinician who can rehab the injury, and a coach who can rebuild the athlete, in one person.

Why Sol MVMT.

Movement is medicine. Sol MVMT exists to give it back to you fully, not just to the point where the pain quiets down, but all the way to trusting your body again. An injury does not make you someone else. You are the same athlete, the same parent, the same person who walked in the door. This is simply the next chapter, and we are here to write it with you.

Same Athlete. Different Chapter.
